Soybean meal futures didn't follow soybeans, closing higher Thursday with May closing at $470.50, up $1.40, and July at $454.60, up $1.40 per ton. Average cash soybean meal prices followed with central Illinois, Iowa, eastern Kansas and southern Minnesota up $2 per ton.
