OMAHA (DTN) -- As we near the close, July corn is down 8 cents, July soybeans are down 22 3/4 cents, and July K.C. wheat is down 6 3/4 cents. Grains are lower Monday with relatively light trading volume. The most bearish surprise is the selling in old-crop soybeans after Friday's USDA estimates were clearly bullish, a possible sign of lower prices ahead. Monday afternoon's Crop Progress report is expected to show some planting progress in the eastern Midwest and another week of poor crop conditions for winter wheat.
