OMAHA (DTN) -- As we near the close, December corn is down 1 cent, January soybeans are up 17 3/4 cents, and December Chicago wheat is up 1/4 cent. January soybeans are on track to post their highest close in six weeks, supported by Friday's bullish USDA estimates and Tuesday's bullish export news. Corn and wheat prices held to narrow trading ranges, finding no strong reasons to take a direction. USDA's Crop Progress report is due out at 3 p.m. CST and will likely show roughly 85% of corn and 93% of soybeans harvested.
