OMAHA (DTN) -- As we near the close, December corn is down 9 cents, January soybeans are down 23 1/2 cents, and December Chicago wheat is down 9 1/4 cents. December corn is on track to post its lowest close in three years and January soybeans are threatening to close back below their 200-day average for the third time in four weeks, possible bearish signs that harvest yields are coming in higher than expected for both corn and soybeans. Wheat is trading lower in sympathy with corn and with expectations for beneficial rains throughout the southern Plains and Midwest this week.
