OMAHA (DTN) -- As we near the close, December corn is up 4 cents, November soybeans are up 7 3/4 cents, and December Chicago wheat is down 1 cent. It has been a quiet trading day in corn and soybeans, but both are holding gains with rain holding up harvest in parts of the Midwest and near blizzard conditions in the western Dakotas. November soybeans are currently trading above the January contract, a sign of commercial demand, and it will be interesting to see if that holds true at the close.
