The corn basis may be firm, but the corn cash price continues to fall for the fifth day in a row as the market expects a bearish corn report from USDA on Friday by lowering export and possibly ethanol demand, thus raising stocks. The nearby soybean cash price was nearly unchanged as traders believe that USDA may lower soybean stocks on continued higher-than-expected soybean exports.
