The soybean basis was steady, but the cash price was lower on Wednesday after closing higher all week as weather forecasts for South America continue to be the driving factor. The cash corn price was lower as the corn futures were stuck in the same spot near their low all day on Wednesday. The wheat cash prices were higher as the wheat markets found strength midday as the forecast called for precipitation to be near to below normal during the next five days in some of the dry areas of the Plains.
