The corn basis closed the week higher as physical corn is still difficult to buy while producers continue to keep their corn in the bins. The cash price for corn was weaker on Friday, but was 18 cents higher with the basis 3 cents higher than one week ago Friday. The soybean cash price was 27 cents higher from one week ago Friday, with the basis 6 cents lower than one week ago Friday. The soybean basis was lower to end the week as soybean basis levels on the river weakened due to slower shipments of soybeans this week ...
