Comments: The cash price for corn and soybeans was higher Friday in a very quiet, post-holiday market. The soybeans led all the grains today on strong export sales and shipments as reported Friday by USDA. The corn and soybean basis levels were lower to the end the week with many elevators closed for the long holiday weekend. However, the corn cash price ended the week 6 cents higher than Monday, the soybean cash price ended the week 22 cents higher than Monday and the HRW wheat cash price was 2 cents higher than Monday.
