USDA Weekly Crop Progress

OMAHA (DTN) -- Thirty-nine percent of the nation's corn crop was harvested as of Oct. 20, according to USDA's latest weekly Crop Progress report. That compared to 12% the last time this report was issued, Sept. 30, 85% last year and a five-year average of 53%.

"This number could be viewed as neutral to bullish but will likely have very little influence on the market," said DTN Senior Analyst Darin Newsom.
