USDA Weekly Crop Progress

OMAHA (DTN) -- Soybeans were 85% planted and 66% emerged as of Sunday, June 16, according to USDA's latest weekly Crop Progress report. That compares to 71% planted last week and a five-year average of 91% planted; 48% emerged last week and a five-year average of 80% emerged.

"These numbers will be viewed as modestly bullish, reflecting the ongoing planting difficulties and late development," said DTN Analyst Todd Hultman.
