Weekly Grain Export Sales Bullish

OMAHA (DTN) -- This week's export sales report should be viewed as bullish for corn, soybeans and wheat, according to DTN Senior Analyst Darin Newsom.

Weekly export sales of corn showed a total of 1,341,400 mt (52.8 mb), This was above the 348,000 mt (13.7 mb) needed this week to stay on pace with USDA's demand projection of 1.225 bb. Weekly shipments of 618,000 mt (24.3 mb) were above the 614,000 mt (24.2 mb) needed this week. This report should be viewed as bullish, Newsom said.
