Asian markets closed mixed on Wednesday with the Nikkei .4% higher and the Shanghai Composite down .2%. European markets are mixed. In Tuesday's trade, the TSX is 137 higher at 14,369. In overnight trade, Dow futures were 20 higher, signaling what should be a firm open in North American equity trade.
