Asian equity markets closed mixed on Wednesday with the Shanghai Composite in China gaining 1.1% and the Nikkei in Japan off .5%. European markets are trading lower. The TSX closed at 14,077 on Tuesday, which was up 23 points and also the tenth day of gains for the market, resulting in a close near the three-year high.
