Asian markets closed mixed on Thursday with the Japanese Nikkei up 1% and the Shanghai Composite down 1.6%. European markets have yet to trade. The TSX closed at 13,518 on Tuesday, up 70 points. Dow futures were up 62 points in overnight trade. The Canadian dollar is down 15 points at $.9388 CAD/USD while the U.S. dollar index is .014 lower at 80.660.
