Market Summary: December corn is up 1 1/2 cents, November soybeans are down 4 3/4 cents, November canola is $1.90/mt lower, Dec HRS is 3 1/4 cents higher. The Canadian dollar is 9 basis points lower.

Outside Markets

Asian markets closed mixed on Friday, with the Shanghai Composite up .7% and Japan's Nikkei closing .9% lower. European stocks are trading higher. The TSX closed down 104 points at 12,735 on Thursday, while in overnight trade, Dow futures were 6 higher as the U.S. government shutdown headed into its fourth day.
