Outside Markets

Asian stocks were mixed Thursday. Japan's Nikkei closed .4% lower to close at 15,037.24. European markets are currently trading mixed after reaching multi-year highs in Wednesday's trade. On Toronto's Bay Street, stocks closed 103.40 lower, ending at 12,473.65. In overnight trade, the Canadian dollar is 26 basis points lower at $.9794 CAD/U.S. dollar. The U.S. dollar is .044 higher at 84.005. Gold is suffering again Thursday, currently $21.40/mt lower at $1,374.80/ounce. Crude oil is 61 cents lower at $93.95/barrel.
