Outside Markets

Asian markets are mostly lower on Thursday, as global growth concerns are on the radar. The Nikkei in Japan closed .8% lower at 13,694.04. European stocks are trading lower, pending an expected one-quarter percent interest rate cut to be announced by the EU this week. Canada's TSX closed 135.21 lower at 12,321.29 on Wednesday on poorer-than-expected economic data coming from both the U.S. and China.
