Outside Markets

Asian markets traded mixed on Wednesday, with the biggest surprise being a 3% gain in the Nikkei due to a weaker yen. European markets are mostly lower, with concerns over interest rate announcements to be released in the EU later this week. Canada's TSX closed 13.04 lower Tuesday, ending the session at 12,682.10. Dow futures are currently 6 points higher, which may lead to a steady open in North American equities Wednesday.
