Outside Markets

Asian markets are mixed in Thursday's trade with Japan's benchmark Nikkei closing up .1% in cautious trade. European markets are trading mostly higher. Canada's TSX closed down 33.15 points Wednesday to 12,608.82. Dow futures are trading 8 points higher which should lead to a steady open in North American equity markets. The Canadian dollar is trading down 5 basis points at $1.0123 CAD/U.S. dollar, while the U.S. dollar is .209 lower at 79.645. Gold is trading $1.10 lower at $1682.10/ounce.
