Corn, Wheat Export Sales Bearish

OMAHA (DTN) -- The weekly export sales report was bearish for corn and wheat and bullish for soybeans, according to DTN Senior Analyst Darin Newsom.

Weekly export sales of corn showed a total of 512,600 mt (20.2 mb), with 302,600 mt (11.9 mb) for 2012-2013. This is below the 307,800 mt (12.1 mb) needed this week to stay on pace with USDA's demand projection of 900 mb. Weekly shipments of 296,300 mt (11.7 mb) were below the 503,200 mt (19.8 mb) needed this week. This report should be viewed as bearish, Newsom said.
