Private Exporters Report Corn Sales

WASHINGTON (Dow Jones) -- Private exporters reported to the U.S. Department of Agriculture the following export sales activity:

- Export sales of 211,500 metric tons of corn for delivery to Japan. Of the total, 47,000 tons are for delivery during the 2013-14 marketing year, and the remaining 164,500 tons are for delivery during the 2014-15 marketing year.

- Export sales of 140,000 metric tons of corn to South Korea during the 2013/2014 marketing year.

The marketing year for corn began Sept. 1.

USDA issues both daily and weekly export sales to the public.
