GENERAL COMMENTS:

Aggressive sharp losses have developed in all livestock futures with triple-digit declines in lean hog and cattle futures. Feeder cattle contracts are posting losses at or around $2 per cwt lower at midday. Pressure is expected to continue through closing bell as the light volume is likely to limit additional buyers from stepping back into the market before the long holiday weekend. It is likely traders will wait until Tuesday before trying to sort out any damage done over the last couple of sessions. Corn futures are higher at midday.
