DTN Midday Livestock Comments

GENERAL COMMENTS:

Initial support in livestock futures has quickly faded near midday with pressure from both market fundamentals and outside market shifts. Moderate losses are seen across the livestock complex, which may hold until closing bell. Corn futures are lower at midday. March corn futures are 1 cent per bushel lower. Stock markets are mixed in light trade. The Dow Jones is 39 points lower while Nasdaq is up 7 points.
