GENERAL COMMENTS:

Aggressive gains are seen in all nearby livestock markets as commercial buying quickly developed Wednesday morning. Trade volume is expected to be moderate at best, but this is not limiting price gains nearing $1 per hold through midday. Corn futures are lower at midday. March corn futures are 4 cents per bushel lower. Stock markets are higher in light trade. The Dow Jones is 122 points higher while Nasdaq is up 29 points.
