DTN Midday Livestock Comments

GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are mixed at midday with live cattle and lean hog futures unable to sustain previous price support and returning to a narrow trading range. Lack of expected trade through the holiday week is expected to keep most traders on the sidelines. Corn futures are higher at midday. December corn futures are 2 cents per bushel higher. Stock markets are higher in light trade. The Dow Jones is 30 points higher while Nasdaq is up 8 points.
