DTN Midday Livestock Comments

GENERAL COMMENTS:

Moderate strength is developing at midday and likely will be able to hold through the end of the session. Firm grain market support has sparked additional commercial buyer activity in both live cattle and lean hog futures. Corn futures are higher at midday. December corn futures are 3 cents per bushel higher. Stock markets are higher in light trade. The Dow Jones is 90 points higher while Nasdaq is up 52 points.
