GENERAL COMMENTS:

Activity through livestock futures remained sluggish at best Monday morning. Traders are looking for continued strong hog supplies to be delivered to the market. This may weigh on prices further if overall pork demand isn't able to create additional momentum. Live cattle futures are higher but remain in a limited range based on little outside market direction. Corn futures are lower at midday. December corn futures are holding 1 cent losses at midday. Stock markets are mixed in light trade. The Dow Jones is 9 points lower while Nasdaq is up 11 points.
