GENERAL COMMENTS:

Moderate to strong pressure is developing in lean hog futures through the morning. The previous support in the complex has hit a roadblock as traders are starting to take positions. Cattle futures are mixed in directionless trade developing through the morning. Corn futures are mixed at midday. September corn futures are holding 2-cent losses at midday. Stock markets are higher in light trade. The Dow Jones is 120 points higher while Nasdaq is up 33 points.
