GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are under pressure Tuesday morning. The building losses through the lean hog futures market has eroded any early support in the cattle markets. Corn futures are higher at midday. September corn futures are holding 2 cent gains at midday. Stock markets are higher in light trade. The Dow Jones is 18 points higher while Nasdaq is up 25 points.
