GENERAL COMMENTS:

Pressure quickly developed through the entire livestock futures complex as moderate to strong noncommercial selling activity seems to be directing the tone of the market Wednesday morning. Corn futures are trading lower at midday in light trade. March corn futures are holding 4 cent losses at midday. Stock markets are higher in light trade. The Dow Jones is 4 points higher while Nasdaq is up 2 points.
