GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures remain extremely lightly traded, but this lack of buyer interest has also allowed markets to move moderately lower through the morning. Trade ranges are likely to be limited to a narrow range through the rest of the session, with the few traders still in the market likely to remain cautious. Corn futures are trading lower at midday in light trade. March corn futures are holding 1 cent losses at midday. Stock markets are lower in light trade. The Dow Jones is 143 points lower while Nasdaq is down 38 points.
