New Trading Hours Start Sunday

OMAHA (DTN) -- Electronic grain trading hours change again on Sunday evening. While traders say the new hours are a step in the right direction, they don't address the issues raised by the shifting market dynamics of electronic trade.

GME Group's grain and oilseed markets will now open at 7 p.m. Central Time, Sunday to Friday, with a trading halt from 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. CT on weekday mornings. Electronic and pit trade will reopen at 8:30 a.m. and close at 1:15 p.m.
