General Comments:

Corn closed down 1/2 cent in the September contract and up 3/4 cent in the December. Soybeans closed down 25 1/2 cents in the August contract and down 12 3/4 cents in the November. Wheat closed down 10 cents in the September Chicago contract, down 9 1/4 cents in the September Kansas City, and down 4 1/2 cents in the September Minneapolis.

The September U.S. dollar index is up .10 at 81.66. December gold is up $3.00 at $1,313.60 while September silver is down $.06 and September copper is down .0450. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up ...
