General Comments:

Corn closed up 1 1/2 cents in the September and up 2 1/4 cents in the December. Soybeans closed up 4 3/4 cents in the August and up 2 1/4 cents in the November. Wheat closed 9 1/4 cents higher in the September Chicago, 10 3/4 cents higher in the September Kansas City, and 8 cents higher in the September Minneapolis.

The September U.S. dollar index is .15 higher at 81.11. August gold is up $11.60 at $1,302.40 while September silver is up .21 and September copper is down $0.0250. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is 135 points ...
