General Comments:

Corn closed up 1 1/4 cents in the September contract and up 1/2 cent in the December. Soybeans closed down 12 1/2 cents in the August contract and down 8 cents in the November. Wheat closed up 12 3/4 cents in the September Chicago contract, up 11 3/4 cents in the September Kansas City, and up 9 cents in the September Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is down .05 at 80.57. August gold is up $16.60 at $1,316.40 while September silver is up $.38 and September copper is up $.0045.
