General Comments:

Corn closed down 7 cents in the September contract and down 6 1/4 cents in the December. Soybeans closed down 2 cents in the August contract and down 12 1/2 cents in the November. Wheat closed down 5 cents in the September Chicago contract, down 11 cents in the September Kansas City, and down 9 3/4 cents in the September Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is down .06 at 80.16. August gold is up $8.20 at $1,324.70 while September silver is up $.08 and September copper is down $.0105.
