General Comments:

Corn closed up 4 1/4 cents in the March contract and up 4 cents in the May. Soybeans closed up 7 1/2 cents in the January contract and up 5 1/2 cents in the March. Wheat closed steady in the March Chicago contract, up 1 1/2 cents in the March Kansas City, and steady in the March Minneapolis. The March U.S. dollar index is down .24 at 80.71.
