General Comments:

Corn closed up 5 cents in the September contract and up 3 1/2 cents in the December. Soybeans closed up 1 1/2 cents in the September contract and up 3 1/4 cents in the November. Wheat closed up 1 1/2 cents in the December Chicago contract, unchanged in the December Kansas City, and up 4 1/4 cents in the December Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is down .32 at 81.50. December gold is down $1.00 at $1,363.00 while December silver is up $.14 and December copper is up $.0015.
