General Comments:

Corn closed down 16 cents in the September contract and down 14 1/4 cents in the December. Soybeans closed down 13 3/4 cents in the September and down 19 cents in the November. Wheat closed down 3 cents in the December Chicago contract, down 2 1/4 cents in the December Kansas City, and down 3/4 cent in the December Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is down .25 at 81.19. December gold is up $25.70 at $1,418.80 while September silver is up $.61 and September copper is up $.0080.
