General Comments:

Corn closed up 20 1/4 cents in the September contract and up 30 1/2 cents in the December. Soybeans closed up 62 1/2 cents in the September and up 61 1/2 cents in the November. Wheat closed up 20 3/4 cents in the December Chicago contract, up 16 cents in the December Kansas City, and up 12 3/4 cents in the December Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is up .10 at 81.49. December gold is down $3.30 at $1,392.50 while September silver is up $.27 and September copper is down $.0245.
