General Comments:

Corn closed up 9 cents in the September contract and up 7 1/4 cents in the December. Soybeans closed up 21 1/2 cents in the August and up 22 1/2 cents in the November. Wheat closed unchanged in the September Chicago contract, up 2 3/4 cents in the September Kansas City, and up 4 cents in the September Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is down .55 at 82.64. August gold is up $5.90 at $1,289.40 while September silver is $.08 higher and September copper is $.0325 higher.
