General Comments:

Corn closed down 8 1/2 cents in the July contract and down 9 3/4 cents in the December. Soybeans closed up 18 3/4 cents in the July and were unchanged in the November. Wheat closed down 17 1/4 cents in the September Chicago contract, down 17 cents in the September Kansas City, and down 6 1/4 cents in the September Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is up .01 at 82.53. August gold is down $4.40 at $1,287.60 while July silver is $.20 lower and July copper is $.0495 lower.
