General Comments:

Corn closed 8 1/2 cents higher in the May and 8 3/4 cents higher in the July. Soybeans closed 2 3/4 cents lower in the May and 6 1/2 cents lower in the July. Wheat closed 9 1/4 cents higher in the May Chicago, 7 1/2 cents higher in the May Kansas City, and 10 cents higher in the May Minneapolis. The U.S. dollar index is 0.280 higher at 82.974. April gold is $5.40 higher at $1,610.00 while May silver is $0.049 lower and May copper is $.0360 lower. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is 24 points lower ...
