General Comments:

Corn closed 5 3/4 cents higher in the March and 5 1/2 higher in the May. Soybeans closed 23 3/4 cents higher in the January and 22 3/4 cents higher in the March. Wheat closed 3 1/2 cents higher in the March Chicago, 5 1/4 cents higher in the March Kansas City, and 3 cents higher in the March Minneapolis. The U.S. dollar index is 0.135 higher at 79.779.
