Morning CME Globex Update: December corn was up 1/2 cent, November soybeans were up 3 1/2 cents, and September Chicago wheat was up 6 1/4 cents. At 8 a.m., USDA announced that China bought 120,000 tons (4.4 mb) of U.S. soybeans for 2014-15. Before the announcement, September soybeans were trading higher for the sixth time in seven days as commercials continue to bid up dwindling amounts of old-crop beans. Wheat prices are also higher with growing concerns about the world's supply of high quality wheat and chances for heavy rain in the northwestern Midwest.
