DTN Before The Bell Grain Comments

Morning CME Globex Update: Corn 1 1/4 lower, Soybeans 5 1/2 lower, Wheat 2 1/4 lower. The U.S. dollar index is once again higher Thursday amid global economic uncertainty, but the grains markets continue to follow their own independent inclinations. So far during the electronic session, these inclinations have been fairly quiet consolidation.

Other Markets:

Dow Jones: Higher
U.S. Dollar Index: Higher
Gold: Lower
Crude Oil: Lower

Corn: First notice day for the front-month September grain and oilseed futures contracts will be Friday, so if there is going to be a last desperate rush of traders liquidating their short positions ...
