Morning CME Globex Update:July corn is up 1 1/2 cents, July soybeans up 3/4 cent, and July Chicago wheat is down 2 cents. Moderate to heavy rain in the Northern Plains and northern Midwest Monday through Wednesday will add to planting delays in the Dakotas, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Monday morning also finds rain in Missouri and western Illinois. The hard red winter wheat crop received light rain over the weekend, but the forecast is mostly dry in the Southern Plains until Thursday when more chances for light rain appear. The June U.S. dollar index is trading lower.
