DTN Before The Bell Grain Comments

8:30 a.m. CME Globex:Corn 5 lower, Soybeans 9 lower, Wheat 2 3/4 lower. A rebounding U.S. dollar has put pressure on soybean and corn prices throughout the morning. If no fresh bullish news pops up for the grain markets Tuesday, it looks like the higher trends will pause for at least a day.

Dow Jones: Higher
U.S. Dollar Index: Higher
Gold: Higher
Crude Oil: Higher

Corn:On average throughout the country Monday, the cash corn market reached “option” (zero basis), meaning both the closing futures price Monday afternoon and the average nearby cash bid (the DTN National Corn Index) ...
