8:30 a.m. CME Globex:Corn 1 higher, Soybeans 15 higher, Wheat 4 1/4 higher. Soybeans' double-digit gains Monday morning set a bullish tone that is in contrast to the less-enthusiastic outside markets.

Dow Jones: Lower
U.S. Dollar Index: Higher
Gold: Lower
Crude Oil: Lower

Corn:Overnight and through the first part of Monday morning, the corn market obediently took direction from the higher soybean market. But feed grains could experience a jolt once the livestock markets open.
